ARD-NA-RI Terms and Conditions

Rates and availability on any of our listings are subject to change without prior notice. Rates quoted are for information purposes only and do not represent a final quote or rental rate. Refundable security deposit details will be quoted at the time of the reservation. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Payment and Booking Terms & Conditions

1) Payment by cheque, bankers draft or cash is acceptable.
2) To secure a holiday date a 20% deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
3) Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday let. If the
balance is not received by the due date the owner shall be entitled to cancel the
booking and all payments made shall be forfeited without prejudice to the owner's
right to claim for the balance of the total price.
4) If you cancel your booking you must confirm this in writing. If the full deposit has
been paid the owner will refund 50% of the deposit paid if the property is re-let. If full
payment has been made the owner will refund 75% of the payment made if the
property is re-let.
5) The customer undertakes to pay all extra charges and shall indemnify the owner
against any damage or loss caused by the customer or any member of his party.
6) The owner does not accept any liability for loss or damage of or damage to, personal
effects, baggage, motor car, or any other item belonging to the hirer or any member of
the hirer's party.
7) The total number in the party shall not exceed the maximum number stated. The owner
reserves the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund for a breach
of this contract.
8) The house may not be occupied before 4 pm on the hire start date or after 11 am on the
final day of the hire and it must be left in a clean condition. An additional charge will
be made if extra cleaning is required.
9) Every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions given are correct. The
owner reserves the right to modify the home in the light of operational requirements.
Where possible clients will be notified of changes prior to commencement of their
holiday.
10) If the hirer is not entirely satisfied with the house hired, he should contact the owner
or the manager immediately and attempt to resolve the problem.
11) In the event of non performance or improper performance of the contract
compensation payable to the hirer is limited to and shall in no circumstances exceed
the total cost of the hire of the property for the holiday in question.
12) In the unlikely event of a dispute in connection with your Hire Contract which you
are unable to resolve (except as stated below), it shall be referred to and be
determined by an independent mediator in accordance with the AITO Independent
Dispute Settlement Service (details on request) upon the application of the hirer and
such determination shall be final and binding. Claims exceeding £1,500 per person or
£7,500 per booking form or claims which apply principally or exclusively in respect
(or as a consequence of) illness or physical injury are not admissible for settlement
under this service.
